Yamuna Krishnan (born 25 May 1974) is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Chicago, since August 2014. She was earlier Reader in National Centre for Biological Sciences, TIFR, Bangalore, India. She is the youngest woman recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for science and technology, the highest science award in India, which she won in the year 2013 in chemical science category.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://pib.nic.in/newsite/erelease.aspx?relid=99698 )〕 She earned her Bachelor's in Chemistry from Women's Christian College, Chennai in 1994.
